The Nepean Liquor Accord is a partnership of local licensed venues, community groups and government agencies that work together to develop practical solutions to prevent and reduce alcohol related issues, anti-social behaviour and violence in the local area. The Accord has over 80 business members that are committed to work together in implementing various campaigns and initiatives that will make the community more safe.

What is a Liquor Accord?

Liquor accords aim to reduce alcohol-related violence, antisocial behaviour, and other alcohol related harm in their local communities. In NSW, there are over 140 liquor accords in operation.

Liquor accord members work together to develop effective harm minimisation strategies based on trends affecting their local community.

Membership of the Nepean Liquor Accord is open to any venue or business in the Penrith and St Marys region that sells or serves alcohol.

Members of the Nepean Liquor Accord get -

  • Meeting Access
    Access to 3 Accord meetings per year that include the Accord executive team presentations on relevant news, Nepean Police Area Command updates, guest speakers from different groups such as Penrith Council, OLGR, Liquor Accord Concierge, ClubsNSW & various Police agencies.
  • Networking Opportunities with fellow members at meetings
